God gives us stewardship responsibility over our lives. Though it all belongs to Him, He richly gives us all things to enjoy (1 Timothy 6:17). When we tithe, we demonstrate faithful stewardship by showing God that we realize we are stewards, not owners.

Give to Live, not Give to Get God doesn't want us to catch the vision of getting. He wants us to catch the vision of giving. When God does a work in our hearts, we give simply to give, not to get. The resulting blessing we receive is the byproduct, not the goal.
